First-time setup
- Install Luxar on your Android phone and Luxar TV on your Android TV.
- Connect both devices to the same Wi‑Fi network.
- Open Luxar TV first, then open Luxar on your phone.
- Select the discovered TV and tap Connect.

Complete your Luxar setup, resolve connection issues and put your surface live.
TV not discovered
- Make sure both devices are on the same local network.
- Disable guest-network or client-isolation features.
- Keep Luxar TV open and scan again from the mobile app.
- If needed, enter the local IP address shown on the TV manually.
Connection drops
- Allow Luxar to run without battery restrictions on your phone.
- Move the TV and phone closer to the router.
- Check VPN or security applications that may block local network traffic.
- Close both applications and reopen them, starting with the TV.
Managing projects
- Projects are stored automatically on your device.
- Use JSON export to make a portable copy of a project.
- When Android system backup is enabled, projects and presets may restore to a supported new device.
- To erase all local data, use Android Settings > Apps > Luxar > Storage.
