Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Luxar mobile application and Luxar TV application handle data.

Effective date: July 29, 2026
Applications coveredLuxar (com.luxar.studio) and Luxar TV (com.luxar.studio.tv)

1. Summary

Luxar does not create user accounts and does not use advertising, analytics or tracking services. The applications do not send personal data to a server operated by Engin Deniz Erbas.

Project data and preferences are primarily stored on your device. Project and calibration data move between your phone and Android TV only over the same local network to provide the application’s core functionality.

2. Data stored on your device

The Luxar mobile application may store project names, surface geometry, visual assignments, presets, language choice and onboarding preference in the application’s private device storage.

The developer cannot remotely view this information. We recommend that you do not place personal or sensitive information in project names.

3. Local network communication

Luxar uses local network access to discover and connect to Luxar TV receivers on the same Wi‑Fi network. Project state is transferred over TCP, while high-frequency corner updates are transferred over UDP between the phone and the selected TV.

This traffic does not pass through a server operated by Engin Deniz Erbas. You are responsible for the security of your local network and for connecting only on networks you trust.

4. Android system backup

Project and preset data in the Luxar mobile application may be transferred by Android to private backup storage associated with your Google Account, or directly to a new Android device, when Android backup is enabled on your device.

Cloud backup is enabled only when supported encryption conditions are available. The developer cannot access these backups. Language and onboarding preferences are not included. System backup is disabled for the Luxar TV application.

You can manage backup preferences in your Android device’s Google backup settings. Google’s handling of backup data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Permissions

Internet, Wi‑Fi and network-state permissions are used only for local device discovery and phone-to-TV communication. Wake lock and connected-device foreground service permissions keep an active session connected. Vibration may be used for interface feedback.

The applications do not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, advertising ID or payment information.

6. Sharing, advertising and third parties

Luxar does not sell personal data or share it for advertising. The applications contain no advertising network, behavioral analytics, crash-reporting or social-media tracking SDK.

Operating-system-level processing by Android and Google Play is governed by the respective providers’ privacy policies.

7. Retention and deletion

Local data remains on your device until you clear application data or uninstall the application. If Android system backup is enabled, projects and presets may later be restored. You can manage or delete cloud backups through Android and Google backup settings.

Luxar has no user account or developer-operated user database, so there is no account-deletion request process.

8. Children’s privacy

Luxar is not specifically directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when application features or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page.
